Most GI Joe fans are very familiar with the GI Joe Raider and it’s evil driver, Copperhead. I am glad to present Copperhead and the GI Joe Raider here at the GI Joe blog!
Why the GI Joe Raider?
Cobra created the Sting Raider to enable them the ability to establish bases deep within murky waters giving them the advantage of hidden bayou stations that are secretly stashed away. This is the operating procedure of Cobra and the Sting Raider makes that happen.
The hull of the GI Joe Raider is made extrememly tough to take on impact with rocks and swamp logs or branches when moving at high speeds through the bayou. This is a tough machine.
Even tougher are the cannons and automatic lead slinging guns that will blast any G.I. JOE water vehicle crazy enough to nose its prow in the home turf of the STING RAIDER. Imagine the guns on this GI Joe Raider blasting the hell out of a Joe water machine in the middle of the night. This would be a fireworks display worth seeing.
Another unique fact about the GI Joe Raider is that it’s powerful V12 engine was designed by Destro himself. This engine allows for stealthy crusing or rapid speed pursuits.
The deck of the Sting Raider can hold more crew for a marine based assault or an amphibious attack.
GI Joe Raider - A Bit About Copperhead
Copperhead lived fast and dangerous before joining up with Cobra. As a matter of fact, he lived so wrecklessly that he became deep in debt to his bookies and had to escape that lifestyle and did so by joing Cobra.
The evil Cobra terrorist organization payed off Copperhead’s debts and he gladly joined the ranks.
It is presumed that this jumgle and swamp warrior grew up in the Florida everglades. I wonder if he is a Jeb Bush supported? He surely couldn’t be liked by the Bush family as Cobra certainly falls under the axis of evil!
I’ve got both the GI Joe Raider, formally know as the Cobra Sting Raider for sale as well as the Copperhead and Shipwreck Comic pack; which comes with a very good comic book if you’re a collector like me.
