Breaker - First Series 1982 - GI Joe Action Figure

GI Joe BreakerLet’s go back in time to the first series of the 1982 G.I. Joe action figures line. I can remember many of these GI Joe figures from when I was a kid growing up. It’s too bad most of them are probably buried in a dirt hill somewhere in West Texas where I used to play with them.

GI Joe Breaker – Communications Officer

GI Joe Breaker was the RTO or Radio Telecommunications Officer for the original Joe team. Oddly enough, the Breaker action figure did not include a weapon. However, in the Marvel comics, he was often seen toting an M-16 and blowing bubbles with his ongoing supply of gum.

Breaker has a very easygoing sense of humor and his mood was always uplifting to the other Joes. This can happen to certain types of soldiers that endure much combat and many extreme situations.

Breaker’s profile stated that he was from Gatlinburg, Tennessee and he was an educated linguist that spoke seven languages.

On a mission in Trucial Abysmia, he was killed by a Cobra S.A.W. Viper according to Marvel comics.
