Red Star - Oktober Guard - The Russian GI Joe Team

How many Cold War veterans do we have out there? Please raise your hands? Well, the Cold War is supposedly over, or many of the insiders that have knowledge about secretive parts of this behind the scenes war may disagree with me passionately.

Red Star Gi Joe

After the fall of the Soviet Union, it seemed that the underworld thrived in Russia. Corruption, gang violence, organized crime and a slew of evil deeds and entities did whatever they pleased to whomever they pleased. And yes, this still goes on to this very day.

Russia’s response was to organize a GI Joe-like team of elite troopers to confront all for the corruption and wrong doers within and outside of the boundaries of the former Soviet Union. This response came in the form of the Oktober Guard.

One man was chosen to step up and lead the Oktober Guard because of his vast experience in operations and in command. Anatoly Fyodorovich Krimov, also known as Red Star, stepped up and assumed command of the Oktober Guard.

His background is amazing. He was formerly part of the crack Black Sea Regiment of the Soviet Naval Infantry; which is comparable to the United States Marine Corps. Red Star is the man that pulled this new team together and is one of the first ones in when the Oktober Guard is called into action. He is a soldier’s soldier and a hard charger.

Allow me to introduce Red Star.
